Alfaparf PDA Sales Tool

Alfaparf required Interlex to build a custom written mobile PDA and web based solution for allowing their sales staff on the road to take ‘live’ orders from their clients.


Prior to building a new PDA based system, Alfaparf required their sales staff to utilise old paper based order sheets which were filled out by their clients, and faxed back to head office. This involved tedious double entry of data, and allowed for mistakes to be made in the order entry process.


Building a PDA based system, allowed their sales staff to record orders directly from their clients own shops onsite, and after a check/approval process the order would be sent directly over the Internet into Alfaparfs central database for orders, and for commissioning. This sped up their entire ordering process, reduced input errors, and reduced costs in double entering of data.
