Whateyedo Customizable HomePage
Whateyedo.com approached Interlex to build a new homepage portal with a unique idea that hadn't been done before. The idea was to build a very simple Internet starting page which provided the user with a google search box similar to googles own search, with the addition of all of the users own saved shortcuts and bookmarks. Bookmarked sites were displayed as graphical icons with drop downs allowing the user to grapically organise their favourite sites and access them with one click access.
Many portal sites exist that flood the user with information, news, rss feeds and gadgets, but whateyedo.com was the first to have the vision of providing the user with an internet access starting point, which focused soley on allowing the user to search for things quickly and easily, or to access previously saved sites with one click access.
